Ian Wagner, software developer at The Worthwhile Company, competed in the 23rd Annual CCSC: Southeastern Conference at Roanoke College in Virginia.ian

The contest was organized by the CCSC Southeastern Region and involved over 18 teams from colleges in the Southeast.

Ian’s team placed 1st in the contest.  The team had to solve the most of 8 challenging problems using computer programs within a given timeframe. Ian’s team successfully solved 5 problems in 3 hours giving his team 1st place over schools like Mercer, Furman, Wofford, and Augusta State University.

Ian said, “I always look forward to competing in these contests. They provide a great opportunity for me to sharpen my programming skills, and the time constraints force me to think quickly.”

Congratulations to Ian and the entire Bob Jones University Computer Science Programming Team for a job well done!
