Beth Honshell | I found a First Impression goal to be passionate about the other day. Scott McKain, in his book What Customers Really Want asks this question, "Do you spend more time on getting it right or making it right?"
| Wow! Stop and think about that. What you want is for it to be right, obviously, but where am I spending my time? In order to get it right time and effort needs to be spent internally, before you see or touch your product. What a positive goal to reach for, one that helps me focus on encouraging our entire team to work together, not one where I'm individually spending energy correcting problems. So, I'm off to encourage the team while I make a list and check it twice...my goal...getting it right! |
