Leslie Ciesielski | SEO or Search Engine Optimization is a process of getting your web site more traffic through the use of search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN. When I first started out researching SEO there seemed to be so much information that I didn't think I'd ever know everything there is to know about SEO. Well, I think once you get started you'll realize the same thing I did - there isn't enough space in our brains to take in all there is to know about SEO. However, I did find some pretty good websites that helped me get started learning all there is to know.

http://www.highrankings.com - Founded by Jill Whalen, this site has a blog with all kinds of interesting topics regarding SEO. Jill also sends out a weekly email report which is always an interesting read. She also has a lot of great tips on customer service that will keep your customers coming back to your site.

http://www.webconfs.com - I like to call this the SEO Playground With countless numbers of articles on SEO tips and tricks as well as a ton of SEO tools such as the Search Engine Spider Simulator that shows you what your website actually looks like to a search engine spider and the Website Keyword Suggestion tool which tells you what keywords you should use to optimize your site for search engines, this site has a great amount of resources for you to get started learning about SEO.

http://www.seochat.com - This is another site that has a lot of SEO tools that you can use as well as a large list of SEO forums that you can get involved in.

http://searchenginewatch.com - Along with the large amount of SEO articles, this site also has a daily and monthly newsletter as well as daily tips on different SEO topics from SEO experts that you can sign up for.

There are countless more SEO sites but these are just a few, of course, just going to your favorite search engine and typing in "seo" or "search engine optimization" will give you a plethora of more great sites, but I thought I'd let you know of some of the sites that have helped me out.
