On Saturday, February 23, 2008, Jordan Jueckstock competed in the Spring Programming Competition at Mercer University. Jordan was on a team with two other computer science and engineering students. They faced competitors from Mercer University, Georgia Tech, Wofford College, and six other schools. The contest consisted of ten problems to be solved within a five hour period.

Jordan and his teammates crafted correct solutions to eight problems and placed second out of twenty-nine teams. This contest was the team's fourth competition together and their third finish in the top two.
