I admit it. I saw this book on my husband's night stand and snapped it up. No, I'm not caught in a miserable job - although it was a particularly stressful week at work. (more...)

I've been on lots of great field trips. Oldsmobile. Kelloggs. Commodities Exchange. CNN. NY Stock Exchange. I've been on a dozen University tours looking at receiving docks, cold storage rooms, student centers and computer labs. This simple trip soon escalated into my finding much more necessary merchandise I had to have. Homeowners who are closet interior designers know what I'm talking about. Then I picked up a "last of its kind" towel hanger - no price tag. (more...) [...]

The Corner Kitchen in Asheville, NC is one of my favorite places to catch breakfast or lunch on a weekend. This unique restaurant is located in an historical building in Biltmore Village. The food is fantastic and original. What's even better than the historical atmosphere and the fabulous food is the staff who serve you. (more...) [...]
