If you’ve ever visited our website before, something looks different. It’s not you, it’s us.
We’ve begun unveiling a brand upgrade months in the making, and you probably notice it first in our new logo. It’s definitely still a W, but now even more modern, eye-catching and hand-crafted. Our colors are brighter, too—that’s not just the sunlight and we’re pretty sure your monitor resolution is still on the same settings.
In the coming weeks and months, you’ll notice even more improvements to our brand. A new tagline, new office enhancements and soon, a completely new website. In the meanwhile, we’d love for you to visit us in person to experience what else has gotten an upgrade. And we’d love to know what you think.
Change is in the air at The Worthwhile Company as we say goodbye to Dave Ruse and transfer Will Gray into his position as the new Creative Director.
Since March of 2007, Dave has brought creative and strategic ideas to our team. As the company’s first designer, he helped us think about the web from a new perspective. He introduced us to wireframing, persuasive design and ways of making the web more accessible for users. On our blog he discussed everything from branding to website photography.
We’re sorry to see him go, but we’re also thrilled that he’s moving to Washington, DC, where he plans to support a young church plant—Grace of Alexandria—who also happens to be a client of ours. Although we will miss him, Worthwhile is happy to share such a wonderful worker and we wish both Dave and his church all the best.
On Friday, June the 3rd members of the Worthwhile team visited A Child’s Haven, a non-profit based in Greenville, SC. As our first Web for Good client, they will receive a new website for their organization, backed by our normal rigorous process, but at no charge.
When we arrived, the leaders of A Child’s Haven greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the facility. We got a first-hand look at the hard work and care they put into creating classrooms that foster the development of children. It was easy to see that our work will be for a more-than-worthy cause.
