As part of my work as the Communications Intern at The Worthwhile Company, I was commissioned to gather Christmas oriented information for our team bios on our website. I spent some time developing questions and then interviewed each member of the team to get the scoop on various Christmas traditions — and some not so traditional things.tree

You can check out each team member’s bio here.

Here are some of the unpublished highlights — yes, I realize they are now published.

Question: If you were a reindeer which one would you be and why?
Jonathan Pait: “Hmmmm, the one that was left behind while the other one’s pulled the sleigh.  It is my lot in life.”
Dan Rundle: “Torn between Prancer and Vixon.”
Dan Wooster: “Sorry, don’t keep up with their names; rudolph is the only one I can remember, but he takes the lead and that’s certainly nothing like me.”

Question: Coolest technology gift you’ve ever gotten?
David Dorothy: “TI 85 calculator”
Georg Zimmer: “Metal detector”

Question: What are some of your family traditions at Christmas?
Mike McCurdy: “Eat an entire pan of stuffing — by myself”
Kirsten Dietz: “Open our stockings before our gifts under the tree.”
Louisa Stephan: “We eat prime rib for our main meal every year.”

Question: Strangest Christmas gift ever received?
Chris Rackley: “When in college, I actually unwrapped a 12-pack of Kraft Mac & Cheese boxes from my parents. It wasn’t a gag gift, either.”
Dan Rundle: “20lb box of oranges — LOVED it.”
Leslie Ciesielski: “Mr. Potato Head my sophomore year of college.”
Georg: “No comment.” (said with a grin)
